Water Walk & Fall Events: Cambridge Gets Moving This Week

This week brings three great reasons to get out and about in Cambridge. **Grand River Water Walk (September 23)** The All Nations Grand River Water Walk is coming through town on September 23. It's an eight-day journey from Port Maitland all the way to the river's source near Dundalk. Come out and cheer on the walkers as they pass through. **Saturday, September 26: Double Feature** Two things are happening Saturday morning and evening that you won't want to miss. From 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., head to the Mill Run Trailhead parking lot to pick up a free tree while supplies last. It's a great way to help the climate and plant something that'll grow right here in our community. That evening at Central Park, the Preston Lanterns light up from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Community-made lanterns will be on display for the fourth year running—a beautiful way to spend a fall evening. **October 1: 50+ Active Living Fair** If you're looking to stay active, mark your calendar for October 1 at Hespeler Arena.
