Butterflies Need Our Help: Cambridge Joins Conservation Mission

Good news for our fluttering friends: the Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory has joined a national conservation project to restore and reintroduce three endangered butterfly species. This is big work. Butterflies don't just brighten our gardens—they pollinate crops, wildflowers, and help keep our ecosystems healthy. When a species gets into trouble, it affects the whole neighbourhood. The Conservatory is now part of a team working across the country to bring these butterflies back. If you're curious about the project, the Conservatory is a great place to learn more about what's happening right here in Cambridge to protect these beautiful creatures. Fall is still a great time to visit and see butterflies up close.
